About the role

We are looking for an experienced software developer to join an ambitions team working on a B2B marketplace. 


As a full-stack developer, you’ll have a major role on the team, working as a member of the scrum team, and will communicate with other scrum members and scrum master, and the product owner. Our team is working on building and developing one of the most sophisticated B2B marketplace in the world and as a result, we’re dealing with exciting big and small challenges daily which is a great opportunity for those who are looking for learning new skills and improving their career. 


Here are some examples of tools and technologies you’ll be working with on a daily basis: Shopify Apps, Shopify Theme, AWS, VimeoOTT, Thinkific, Zapier, Stripe, and other legacy systems. You should also expect to face challenges related to the frontend, backend, integration, database design, CI/CD, Test, etc.

The ideal candidate for this role is expected to have excellent soft skills and teamwork attitude.  


What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with Django, Python, and React Development
  • Database design and implementation in MySql, PostgreSQL
  • CI/CD tools and Automating Test 
  • Follow the scrum disciplines and being part of a team  
  • Support other team members to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Communicate essential facts daily 

What we’d love to see in your experience:

  • Having experience with Shopify and Shopify Theme 
  • Having experience with Azure or AWS code pipeline 
  • Event-driven, Serverless computing architecture 
  • Outstanding organizational and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving and self-organizing 
  • Minimum BSc/BA in Software engineering or relevant field 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Software Development Teams
  • Fluent in English
 
What we consider as a plus:

  • Having experience with AWS(EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda)
