About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to own and evolve the quality of our wholesale eCommerce platform. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering, to make sure our customers experience a reliable, fast, and accurate – from price lists and complex discounts to order fulfillment and invoicing.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves both understanding the business (B2B wholesale) and getting into the details of test scenarios, automation, and data.
What You’ll Do
Quality ownership & strategy
- Take end-to-end ownership of quality for our wholesale eCommerce features (catalog, pricing, ordering, payments, logistics, finance).
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define acceptance criteria and test strategies for new features and enhancements.
- Identify gaps in our QA process and propose improvements across tooling, test coverage, and workflows.
Testing & validation
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases, test suites, and regression scenarios for web and mobile applications.
- Validate complex B2B use cases: bulk orders, tiered pricing, credit limits, customer groups, and custom catalogs.
- Perform API testing for integrations
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing across environments.
- Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with internal stakeholders and key customers.
Tooling & workflow
- Use test management tools to ensure clear documentation and traceability (test cases → defects → releases).
- Work with issue tracking tools to create clear, structured bug reports and follow them through to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to reproduce bugs, prioritize issues, and verify fixes.
(Optional) Automation & CI/CD – if you have this experience
- Contribute to test automation for critical flows (e.g., login, search, add-to-cart, checkout, invoicing).
- Help integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines and suggest improvements to increase coverage.
******Note: Automation experience is a plus, not a requirement for this role.
Collaboration & communication
- Work daily with developers to reproduce bugs, prioritize issues, and verify fixes.
- Translate complex issues into clear, structured bug reports with steps, expected/actual results, and impact.
- Advocate for quality-first thinking within the team and help educate others on good testing practices.
What We’re Looking For
Must-have experience
- 4–7 years of experience in software QA.
- Strong background in web application testing (front-end and back-end).
- Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and regression suites.
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger, REST clients) and understanding of HTTP, JSON, and status codes.
- Basic SQL skills for checking data consistency and investigating issues in the database.
- Comfortable using Jira or similar tools for ticketing, and a test management tool (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to think in edge cases and “break” things in a structured way.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with test automation (UI and/or API) using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
- Experience in wholesale, distribution, or B2B order management systems.
- Familiarity with performance testing and basic security testing concepts.
- Background in Agile/Scrum teams; experience participating in refinement, planning, and retrospectives.
