Job Description:
We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer of exceptional skill and passion for video and image processing. This role involves spearheading the design and implementation of sophisticated engineering systems. Responsibilities include model training, optimization, deployment, and developing applications in image/video processing. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Video Analysis, Classification, Deep Learning, data pipelines, and the entire machine learning life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated algorithms for video analysis and classification using advanced computer vision techniques.
- Optimize deep learning neural networks and associated preprocessing/postprocessing algorithms for high efficiency on various platforms, including servers, edge devices, and specialized hardware.
- Research, interpret, and apply state-of-the-art deep learning models from academic literature, focusing on object detection, action recognition, and optical character recognition (OCR).
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure efficient processing and seamless data flow of visual information.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate computer vision solutions into groundbreaking products and systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with key machine learning and analytical libraries.
- Experience in developing large-scale backend systems incorporating machine learning and computer vision components.
- Expertise in prominent deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proven industry experience in deploying computer vision models for tasks like object detection, tracking, OCR, segmentation, and classification.
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, data preprocessing, and feature engineering techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with real-time video processing and model execution.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in developing and deploying computer vision models.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with distributed computing systems.
- Up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning, with a focus on academic and industry research.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly for effective collaboration within a team.
- Demonstrated skills in collaborative teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability, with a proven ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment.
