We are seeking to a brilliant and professional ICT Supervisor to join our team. As a ICT Supervisor, you involve in develop and manage complex projects related to network infrastructure, collaborating with other departments and professionals in the development of IT systems.
● Developing and overseeing the installation of systems, which include software and hardware.
● Ensuring all installations, maintenance, and upgrades are carried out on schedule and to employee specifications.
● Coordinating local and remote network equipment testing
● Equipment repair, repair for remedy failures, cable replacement and repair, replacement of information technology components
● Develops, conducts and provides technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures ● Diagnoses technical problems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email, databases, operating systems and security systems.
● Registering the calls in the IT monitoring tool according to the agreed procedures
● Identifying infrastructural needs through listening to user requests, pro-active monitoring and following advice of the ICT Manager.
● Contribute to the design of local area networks (LAN), including network devices, cabling and physical spaces.
Skills
● Develop and manage complex projects related to network infrastructure.
● Knowledge of the UBNT wireless solution and access points.
● Working knowledge of the Cisco ISE access control policy platform.
● Extensive knowledge of Fortigate Firewalls.
● Knowledge of Zabbix, Manage-engine, or similar network monitoring solutions Good understanding of highly available architecture and experience supporting mission-critical services.
● Understanding of Linux operating systems, scripting, and automation.
● Infrastructure installation and maintenance, including virtual appliances, server farms, and third-party tools (VMWare, Active Directory, SQL Server, Veeam Backup, IIS, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, Exchange, SharePoint, System Security)
● Staying up-to-date with field advancements and ensuring the team receives refresher training as well.
