About the Role
This is moderately complex, technical work developing, reviewing and correcting sampling methods and procedures or reviewing and correcting raw data to ensure reliability and validity of the data, developing and instructing staff in sample collection techniques to ensure the reliability of the data collected, and testing Data warehouse integrity and Data team systems accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Performs data steward duties for Data warehouse; ensures accuracy, completeness, and integrity of assigned databases; analyzes data needs, designs and recommends database improvements; develops and implements database validation and testing plans; and assists in the implementation of standard operating procedures for database operation and maintenance.
- Raising data quality and performance levels
- Evaluating and identifying where system enhancements are required
- Proactively improving the quality of company reporting
- Providing a high level of data quality awareness across the company.
- Maintain Documentation and Company wide Transparency on Data Quality
Mandatory Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of data manipulation and transformation, e.g. SQL
- Familiar to bash scripting and PowerShell
- Experience in Python and Knowing Scala is bonus
- Familiar with Concept of Data Quality , Data Governance
- Familiar with Change ,Release and knowledge management
- Familiar with Meta Data Management and Master Data Management Systems
- Proficiency in using Git
- Information chain analysis and management
- Written communicator, able to document software behavior and submit bug reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working with task management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Practical experience in using Big Data technologies such as Kafka and Spark
- Experience in setting up SQL
- Familiarity with Concept of Data warehouse and OLAP
