About the Role

As a Design System Designer at Snappbox, you will develop and maintain a cohesive design system, ensuring consistent and efficient product interfaces. You will document design guidelines, collaborate with product teams, and implement best practices for a seamless user experience. Your role includes continuously improving the design system based on user feedback and analytics.


Responsibilities

  • Designing components and patterns with consideration for accessibility, responsiveness, and usability best practices
  • Responsible for the release management of our Figma UI kits, maintaining changelogs and communicating release notes.
  • Providing support to product designers and front-end engineers, answering questions and guiding UI/UX decisions.
  • Contributing to the expansion and optimization of Figma design libraries and advocating for holistic UI/UX patterns
  • Continuously evolve and update the design system documentation and resources to reflect emerging design trends and technological advancements, ensuring that the design system remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular user feedback sessions and incorporate user insights into the refinement and improvement of the design system.
Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in design system, or 3+ in the product design
  • An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
  • Exhibit effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and balance multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills to identify and address design inconsistencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities within the design system, proposing effective solutions for technical limitations, stakeholder feedback, and user needs.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and adoption of the design system.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to evaluate the design system's effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
  • Proficient in comprehending and applying design system principles, encompassing component-based design, modular design, and design patterns.
