Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all property and assets owned by the organization.
  • Tracking the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of property and assets 
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure the accuracy of property and asset records. 
  • Calculating and recording depreciation expenses for all fixed assets. 
  • Monitoring property and asset insurance coverage and ensuring proper valuation of assets for insurance purposes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure proper accounting treatment for property and asset transactions. 
  • Providing financial analysis related to property and asset management, such as return on investment calculations or cost-benefit analysis for potential acquisitions or disposals.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets related to property and asset management. 
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies related to property and asset accounting.
 

 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency in Accounting Standards
  • Proficiency in Tax and SSO National Rulings
  • Ability to Function Efficiently in Limited Time Spans 
  • English Verbal and Writing Communication Skills 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP 
  • Familiar with CAPEX
