Working Days: Mon to Friday 9 to 18
Type: Full-time | Remote

About the Role


We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and take responsibility for developing, maintaining, optimizing, and supporting WordPress-based websites.


The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), along with a good working knowledge of backend development using PHP and JavaScript/jQuery, and deep familiarity with WordPress architecture, lifecycle, and APIs.


This role requires someone who can build scalable, secure, and high-performance WordPress solutions, including fully custom themes and plugins.

Responsibilities


  • Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites
  • Build dynamic pages and layouts using Elementor and ACF
  • Develop and maintain fully custom WordPress themes (Custom Theme Development)
  • Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress themes
  • Build custom templates based on WordPress Template Hierarchy
  • Develop custom plugins and extend WordPress functionality
  • Create and manage Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and Custom Fields
  • Work with WordPress Hooks (Actions & Filters) to implement custom functionality
  • Integrate external and internal services using APIs and Webhooks
  • Optimize website performance and improve Core Web Vitals
  • Optimize database structure and queries for better performance
  • Implement caching strategies (object cache, page cache, CDN)
  • Ensure website security, vulnerability fixes, and hardening
  • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
  • Manage WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates

Required Skills


  • Strong experience in WordPress Development
  • Expert-level knowledge of Elementor and Elementor Pro
  • Strong experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
  • Good understanding of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Deep understanding of WordPress lifecycle and internal architecture
  • Expertise in WordPress Hooks (Actions & Filters)
  • Experience in custom WordPress theme development
  • Solid understanding of WordPress Template Hierarchy
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Good understanding of jQuery
  • Experience with WP_Query and WordPress database structure
  • Familiarity with REST API and Webhooks
  • Ability to build Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies
  • Basic understanding of MySQL and query optimization
  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
  • Familiarity caching strategies, and image optimization
  • Strong understanding of WordPress security and hardening techniques
  • Experience with backup and recovery systems
  • Familiarity with Git and Git workflows (Git Flow)
  • Experience with Linux hosting environments and cPanel
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
Nice to Have (Advantages)


  • Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with WooCommerce development and customization
  • Experience with Cloudflare
  • Experience with Headless WordPress
  • Familiarity with React and Next.js
