استخدام Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, maintain, and evolve critical backend systems in the fintech domain. This role combines hands-on development with technical ownership, requiring strong engineering judgment, system design experience, and the ability to drive improvements across complex production environments.
 The ideal candidate has extensive experience building and operating backend systems at scale, enjoys solving difficult technical problems, and can balance long-term architecture with day-to-day delivery.


What you'll do:



  • Own and maintain critical backend systems running in production
  • Design, implement, and evolve backend services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues, including performance, availability, and operational challenges
  • Drive architectural improvements and technical modernization initiatives
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new fintech products and platform capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions
  • Review code, mentor engineers, and help establish engineering best practices
  • Improve testing strategies, observability, documentation, and operational processes
  • Participate in technical planning, system design discussions, and architectural decision-making
  • Identify technical debt and proactively drive improvements across the platform

What you bring:


  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience
  • Strong experience building and maintaining Django applications in production
  • Deep understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization
  • Experience designing and operating distributed or service-oriented systems
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous processing, background jobs, and system integration patterns
  • Proven ability to work effectively within large existing codebases while driving meaningful improvements
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience making architectural decisions and evaluating technical trade-offs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
 

Nice to have:


  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other high-reliability environments
  • Experience with high-throughput or data-intensive systems
  • Familiarity with message queues, caching systems, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
  • Experience with containerized and cloud-native environments
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response practices
  • Proficiency in more than one programming language
  • Experience leading technical initiatives or projects from design through delivery
