About the Role
As the Managing Director you’ll help launch the most exciting Pizza brand in Iran. You are cuisine-curious and love to develop delivery-first culinary concepts.
You will have a high degree of autonomy and work on some of the most interesting problems at the intersection of product, delivery, and consumer.
You are someone who knows the fundamentals of machine learning and/or operations research and knows when they should be applied. You are a keen problem solver, able to think deeply about a business problem and devise a well thought-out and pragmatic algorithmic solution.
What You’ll Do
• Manage and oversee the entire business operation
• Manage and lead staff
• Train and evaluate staff performance
• Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory • Manage product supplies
• Control costs and minimize waste
• Actively practice and evangelize customer-centric thinking
• Partner with cross-functional leads (product, engineering, analytics, operations, brand) to define the vision for our Consumer products • Be an inspirational leader who brings creativity, vision, commitment, and persistence to the team
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
• Ability to produce accurate workload forecasts accounting for trends and seasonality in contact rates and order volumes
• Oversee our expansion strategy across Iran
