About the Role:

We are in search of an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and monitoring data warehouse and analytics architectures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the BI project lifecycle and will be adept at creating data architectures within the Microsoft BI Platform to meet business requirements. This role also involves delivering robust data integration projects using best practices and proven implementation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Designing Data Infrastructure: Develop, enhance, and oversee data infrastructure, encompassing data warehouses and OLAP systems.

·         Developing ETL Pipelines: Implement ETL pipelines from various data sources, ensuring high standards of data quality throughout the process.

·         Monitoring Performance: Continuously monitor query performance and ETL pipelines to ensure they meet required performance criteria.

·         Maintaining Documentation: Produce and update detailed technical documentation.

 

Requirements

·         Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

·         Microsoft BI Expertise: In-depth experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS (Multi-Dimensional, Tabular), and SSRS.

·         T-SQL Skills: Proficiency in developing T-SQL.

·         Dimensional Modeling: Advanced skills in dimensional modeling techniques.

·         Data Quality Knowledge: Thorough understanding of data quality principles and concepts.

·         Performance Optimization: Expertise in query and database performance tuning.

·         Business Acumen: Interested in understanding and analyzing businesses to provide insightful data-driven solutions.

·         Reporting Tools: Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.

·         Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with "big data" technologies such as Kafka, Hive, or Spark is an advantage.

·         Python: Knowledge of Python data packages (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) is a plus.

·         C#: Experience with C# is beneficial.
