What you’ll be doing:
Expect to write well-designed, testable code and implement highly scalable enterprise applications.
Expect to be an active contributor to our growing codebase to implement new features, squash bugs and improve the product to delight our customers
Design and develop new features to enhance user experiences
Bring improvements to our back-end infrastructure
Automate repetitive development processes to increase efficiencies
Use data to validate assumptions and make decisions
Perform other duties as needed
What you’ll need:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or similar
2-5 years relevant work experience using Java for high-traffic web or event-driven systems
Proven ability to translate business problems into code, write modular, well-tested and maintainable code
Experience with Agile based software development
Expertise in object-oriented design methodology
Excellent understanding of Java fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture
Experience with programming language SQL
Comfortable advocating for improvements including tech debt
Comfortable working collaboratively through code reviews
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel to meet the team up to 10%*
Nice to have:
Experience with cloud architecture, web services, or API development for commercial products
Experience with JIRA in an Agile development environment
Experience working across the full stack (Server side, etc.)
Experience with advertisement application design, functionalities, and usage
Experience working in a remote environment
