Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and Nest.js
Implement and optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL and Redis
Develop and maintain real-time services and web socket communication
Implement and manage API gateways to ensure efficient and secure communication between services
Collaborate with frontend and other teams to integrate backend services with the overall system architecture
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with strong proficiency in Node.js and Nest.js
Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, and creating PostgreSQL views
Experience with real-time services and web socket communication
Experience of exchange systems and trading concepts and fintech is highly desirable
Solid understanding of real-time and distributed systems principles and best practices
Experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed streaming platforms
Experience with microservices architecture
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience of API gateway technologies and best practices
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
