:Job brief
IT Expert is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems and network within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs and ongoing projects
The successful candidate will have a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes
:Responsibilities
Assists in managing information technology and computer systems
Plans, organizes, controls and evaluates IT and electronic data operations
Designs, develops, implements and coordinates systems, policies and procedures
Ensures security of data, network access and backup systems
Acts in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
Identifies problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Evaluates the functionality of systems
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Consults computer users to ascertain needs and to ensure that facilities meet user or project requirements
Selects and purchases appropriate hardware and software
Ensures software licensing laws are followed
Schedules upgrades and back ups
Keeps up to date with new technology
Implement and control Information Security procedures
Deploy software pack services in various environments
Trains new staff
:Qualification & Experience
Proven working experience as an IT expert or relevant experience
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Expertise in data center management and data governance
Expertise in VDI installation and maintenance
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
BS in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux is a most
Familiarity with basics of software development and coding is an advantage
Fluent in English
