We are looking for a Business data analyst to work on data to help business growth.
Business data analyst responsibilities include data gathering from different sources, Analyzing data, and giving insights to other teams to improve their work. To be successful in this role, you should have some hard skills like SQL, Excel, and other data requirements and some soft skills to communicate with other teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy dashboards to collect data-backed insights
- Interpret key business data sets
- Deliver insights on potential areas of growth, optimization, and improvements
- Support business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysis
- Work cross-departmentally on data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making
Requirements and skills
- Knowledge: Applicants must possess experience working in a corporate environment. For Business data analysts, it would be good to have proficient knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other business Intelligence tools. They must also demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Analytical skills: Business data analysts must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Having analytical skills also helps them define business needs and develop technical requirements, and also proffer solutions to business problems using data-driven insights
- Communication skills: It is important for business data analysts to have exceptional verbal communication skills to be able to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users. It also enables them to present their work and tailor the delivery to the capacity of the audience's
