Hiring an (SQL Server and MYSQL) Database Administrator
What you bring:
• Solid understanding of QL Server and MySQL internal architecture, demonstrated experience with SQL Server and MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery strategies
• Experience in database software management (patch and version management)
• Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environments
• Experience in designing and automating repetitive processes
• Design, install, and configure SQL Server and MYSQL cluster, provide detailed documentation on the setup and configuration process for each.
• Formulate database DR failover, switchover strategies and plans for system backup services, recovery, and availability.
• Setup MySQL Replication administration on Master-Slave and Master-Master.
• Configure SQL Server and MySQL Replication as part of HA solution.
• Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
• Provide 24/7 support of production database environments.
• Have a relevant degree - at least a bachelor's degree.
