Role Mission

Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that bring operational data (orders, users, products, logistics, marketing) into a structured and reliable SQL Server data warehouse.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using SSIS, analytical/multidimensional models using SSAS, and prepare data for BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
Ensure the quality, stability, and performance of these pipelines so BI, Product, and Data Science teams can rely on them.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement SSIS packages for extracting, transforming, and loading data from operational systems (website/app, ERP, CRM, payment gateways, etc.).
Model data in SQL Server (schemas, fact/dimension tables, star schema) aligned with reporting and analytics needs.
Develop Cubes/Tabular models in SSAS for fast and unified reporting (Power BI, Excel, etc.).
Monitor job execution (SQL Server Agent / SSIS) and fix failures.
Implement basic automated data quality checks:
completeness (no unreasonable nulls),
record count vs previous days,
duplicate checks on key fields,
referential integrity between tables.
Optimize queries and indexes to improve report performance.
Maintain a Data Dictionary documenting key tables, columns, and business logic (e.g., GMV, active order, active customer).
Collaborate closely with BI and Data Science teams to understand data needs and adjust the model accordingly.

Skills & Requirements

Strong hands‑on experience with:
SQL Server (T‑SQL, performance tuning, indexing),
SSIS for ETL,
SSAS (Multidimensional and/or Tabular),
practical familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools consuming SSAS models.
Experience designing analytical data models (data warehouse / data marts).
Familiarity with big data tools.
Familiarity with data security, access control, and handling sensitive data (PII).
