Overall Role
The CTO of Hami will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision, ensuring the security and reliability of high-traffic services, leading engineering and infrastructure teams, and aligning technical decisions with the company’s business objectives and mission.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology strategy for each business line (payments, e-KYC, inquiry services, digital signature).
- Design secure, resilient, and scalable architectures for services that support millions of users.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards related to payment and identity services.
- Lead the development of APIs and web services and maintain service levels (SLA/monitoring).
- Manage engineering, DevOps, and operations teams; recruit and grow technical talent; and implement an agile engineering culture.
- Drive technology stack selection, CI/CD policies, and high-level decisions about cloud vs. on-premises infrastructure.
- Represent the technology team in executive meetings and work closely with product and sales to prioritize the roadmap.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 8–10+ years of technical experience in software development, with at least 3 years in technical management or team leadership.
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale systems with high user counts.
- Practical experience in online payments, remote identity verification (e-KYC), and inquiry services.
- Strong knowledge of architecture, API design, application security, and reliability/observability principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated skills in technical leadership, managing complex projects, and negotiating with organizational stakeholders.
- Proficient in technical documentation and able to present to non-technical teams.
- Ability to operate in regulated environments and on projects sensitive to privacy and security.
Preferred (Nice-to-have)
- Experience working on government or national projects and liaising with large institutions.
- Background designing financial and payment services.
- Experience designing e-KYC solutions.
- Experience in organizations with millions of users and high availability/scale requirements.
