SCOPE & PURPOSE:

The GSMPAY Company is a player in the Fintech market. With a strong focus on cutting-edge technology, GSMPAY strives to provide groundbreaking solutions and services that transform the way financial transactions are carried out.

In this company, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Developer to join our team. As a DevOps Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our software development and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline our build, test, and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, and infrastructure management, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software development teams to design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate and optimize build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Monitor and manage infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to ensure scalability, availability, and performance.
  • Implement and maintain configuration management tools and practices to ensure consistency and reliability across environments.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues in the development and production environments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address operational issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to DevOps and cloud computing.
 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with tools such as GitLab CI/CD or GitHub action.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking and security principles, including firewalls, load balancers, and SSL/TLS.
  • Proficiency in security configuration and security monitoring of servers (Hardening / Security Rules/IP Tables/…)
  • Proficiency in installing and utilizing monitoring tools (Zabbix / Nagios / …)
  • Proficiency in security tools (firewall, antivirus, penetration testing tools, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
