Key Responsibility:
- Define the product strategy and roadmap, develop product strategy based on the prevalent state of eCommerce business, and create product roadmaps.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with developers’ teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Run trials and MVPs, develop and deliver go to market launch plans.
- Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Working closely with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies to increase sales of certain products or brands.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
- Evaluating pricing strategies to maximize profit margins while maintaining competitive rates in the marketplace.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding, collaborate regularly with the product team to develop and introduce new site features as needed.
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Conduct extensive market research and create realistic user stories for service optimization.
- Create a high level of website and mobile app functionality, and deliver the optimal user experience.
- Assist business developers in analyzing all the business requirements and coordinate efforts to increase business.
- Managing the relationship with suppliers to ensure that they are able to meet demand and provide high quality products.
- Analyzing data to determine the impact of marketing campaigns on product performance in order to improve future efforts.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in product management (Iran’s Big Startups are preferred).
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
