 Fractal seeks a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to generate valuable insights that drive decision-making processes for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding our customers' data needs, developing efficient ETL processes, and creating visually compelling dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and business objectives.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Storytelling (with data) skills
  • Develop and implement data-gathering strategies to collect relevant information from various sources within educational institutions.
  • Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate disparate datasets.
  • Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using industry-leading tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge and skills in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses and related tools and methods
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and data analysis and visualization best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, Data engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Superset, Power BI, Metabase, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications in data analysis.
