Founded in 2012, Engineering Support & Technology Development Company (ESTD) - one of the subsidiaries of PEDC - is an engineering consultation and software development company focused on upstream oil and gas section. The main specialty of ESTD, is engineering software development which requires advanced mathematical modeling expertise and numerical analysis capabilities. 


Job Description (full time opportunity)


We are looking for back-end web developers responsible for building applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.


Skills  


  1. Proficient in backend web development · 
  2. Familiarity with the AIML·   
  3. Familiarity with the AmazonAWS·     
  4. Has experience in working with the google cloud·           
  5. Has experience in working with Big Data (Data Engineering) ·      ·         
  6. Familiarity with the .NET framework ·                
  7. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming ·             
  8. Familiar with various design and architectural patterns ·         
  9. Knowledge of concurrency patterns in programming       
  10. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server ·                    
  11. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application ·         
  12. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes ·                 
  13. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN,...) ·         
  14. Familiarity with continuous integration   
Responsibilities      


  1. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications ·         
  2. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code ·         
  3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications ·         
  4. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems ·         
  5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
