Job Description

At Doctoreto, we're looking for an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and enjoys working closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, user-centric products. Responsibilities

  • Design, write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
  • Perform manual testing for web applications and APIs
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Review product requirements and provide feedback to improve testability and quality
  • Conduct regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and acceptance testing
  • Validate new features before release and ensure production readiness
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and documentation
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing best practices
Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC
  • Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases
  • Strong experience in Manual Testing
  • Experience with Bug Reporting and Defect Tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL for database validation
  • Basic understanding of HTML and browser developer tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have

  • Experience with UI test automation using Selenium (Python)
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience testing responsive web applications
  • Familiarity with browser compatibility testing
  • Knowledge of security or performance testing concepts
