We are looking for a skilled Risk Data Scientist with a finance-related background to join our team. As a pivotal member of our data science team, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise to analyze intricate data sets, create predictive models, and offer strategic insights to drive data-centric decision-making processes within our organization.
- Collaborate closely with the data science team to conceptualize and implement statistical models, algorithms, and machine learning techniques tailored to address complex business challenges within the finance domain.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of vast and intricate data sets to identify crucial patterns, trends, and correlations, extracting actionable insights to enhance risk management strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability by cleaning, preprocessing, and validating datasets effectively.
- Develop and maintain advanced statistical models and algorithms for predictive analysis and forecasting purposes.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate data-driven solutions into existing business processes.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and statistical methodologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- At least 2 years related work experiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, MBA, Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years related work experiences.

- Profound expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python (or R) and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark Hive is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making processes.
