Denxa (A Canadian based company) engineering team is looking for a Senior NodeJS Developer to develop our web applications to support thousands of users. You will be a part of the Dev team, and as such, your work is not just developing but will serve a critical role in helping our software to easily expand to any size of the installation. In addition, you will have the responsibility of adding new knowledge to our team. So, if you are a person who is eager to learn, try, and work together, this job is for you.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency with JavaScript and ES6+
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as Express
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Basic understanding of front-end technologies and implementation
Understanding accessibility and security compliance
Ingenuity to come up with the most effective to build solutions with minimal complexity that meets the needed functionality
Understanding Microservice Architecture Patterns
Experience with complex NoSQL databases (We use MongoDB)
Experience with different APIs and complex integrations between systems
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Experience in planning, designing, and delivering backend of mobile and web applications
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Effective written and verbal English to communicate with our international team
Minimum 3 years experience as a backend developer building scalable and high visibility applications
Good Knowledge of RPC is a plus
Test-driven development and benchmarking is a plus
Experience with AWS and Docker is a plus
