Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a Grant and Investment Funding Specialist with a focus on opportunities in Canada for remote collaboration on international projects.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and evaluating grant, loan, and funding opportunities in Canada
- Researching Canadian government and private support programs
- Conducting market research aligned with startup needs
- Preparing and completing applications
- Collaborating in the preparation of Pitch Decks and Startup Pitches
- Preparing, drafting, and submitting proposals and funding requests
- Following up on evaluation processes and funding approvals
- Preparing progress reports and required documentation
- Presenting and delivering in online meetings
Requirements:
- Proven practical experience in international grants and funding (minimum 5 years)
- Full professional proficiency in English, including fluent speaking
- Familiarity with Canadian public and private funding institutions
- Ability to write professional proposals in English
- Strong research, analysis, and document management skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian startup ecosystem
- Ability to collaborate according to Canadian time zones
- High sense of responsibility and work commitment
