At Bugloos , we’re always looking to strengthen the organization by adding the best available people to our staff. We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to lead and direct a company's sales team, with the goal of achieving sales targets and generating profit. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

Responsibilities



  • Product and Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the IT company's products and services, as well as the broader technology industry (e.g., cloud computing, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI). Our sales manager need to be able to explain the benefits and features to both technical and non-technical clients.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with the latest technological trends, industry developments, and competitors. This helps in positioning products and addressing technical questions during the sales process.
  • Sales Forecasting: Proficiency in forecasting sales based on market trends, historical data, and current pipeline activity.
  • Target Setting: Ability to set realistic, achievable, and motivating targets for the sales team based on business goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term and short-term sales strategies to meet our objectives and increase market share.
  • Market Analysis: Assessing potential markets, customer needs, and competition to identify sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Guiding and mentoring the sales team, helping them improve their skills, develop strategies, and close deals. Effective coaching helps elevate overall team performance.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: Hiring, training, and retaining top talent in the sales department, ensuring the team is skilled, motivated, and aligned with company goals.
  • Motivation and Team Building: Inspiring the team to meet or exceed sales targets through effective motivation, team-building efforts, and creating a positive, competitive culture.
  • Client-Focused Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, understand their needs, and present the company's products or services as solutions to those needs.
  • Sales Analytics: Using data and metrics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make decisions based on quantitative information. Proficiency with CRM systems, dashboards, and sales tracking tools.
  • KPIs and Performance Tracking: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like lead conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, and revenue to assess the effectiveness of the sales team and strategies.
  • Pipeline Management: Overseeing the sales pipeline to ensure a healthy flow of prospects, lead nurturing, and timely deal closures.
  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho to track interactions, manage customer data, and improve the sales process.
  • Industry Networking: Building relationships within the IT industry, including with partners, distributors, and key stakeholders. These networks can provide valuable sales leads and partnership opportunities.
  • Event Participation: Engaging in industry events, webinars, and conferences to represent the company, generate leads, and keep up with competitors and industry trends.
  • Familiar with Western European culture; Netherlands, Germany, UK, Scandinavia, France, Belgium etc.
Requirements and skills



  • Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating deals and contracts to maximize profit while ensuring customer satisfaction. This includes managing pricing discussions and handling objections effectively.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure sales efforts are aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Understanding customer needs and fostering long-term relationships by providing solutions that solve real business problems.
  • Account Management: Experience managing key accounts, upselling, and cross-selling to increase revenue from existing clients. Maintaining customer satisfaction is crucial to retaining clients.
  • Complex Problem Solving: In the IT industry, clients often face complex technical challenges. The sales manager preferably is able to consult with technical teams to solve problems and provide tailored solutions.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Understanding IT contracts, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and licensing terms.
  • Pricing Strategy: Ability to discuss pricing, discounts, and contract terms effectively to ensure deals are profitable for the company while meeting customer expectations.
  • Empathy: Understanding the needs and pain points of clients and using that insight to build trust and rapport.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handling objections or disputes with clients or within the sales team in a constructive, positive manner to maintain relationships and team harmony.
  • Fluency in Arabian or Turkish language is advantage
