Job Description

At Maze, we’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team and play an active role throughout the product design process, from understanding and defining problems to designing and continuously improving the product experience.

We are seeking someone who goes beyond strong UX/UI skills and has a solid understanding of product thinking, user research, and problem-solving, with the ability to independently drive design projects from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and help define product problems, and translate them into practical, well-crafted solutions.
  • Design and improve user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and UI.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve product experiences based on data, user feedback, and business needs.
  • Plan and conduct user research and usability testing, and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of our Design System, helping maintain a consistent product experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the product, engineering, and design teams throughout the process, from problem definition to final implementation.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new products and features at Maze.
Requirements


  • 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design / UX/UI Design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, with hands-on experience designing, maintaining, or evolving component-based Design Systems.
  • Strong understanding of UX, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, and Visual Design principles.
  • Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze user research and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and user behavior tools, such as GA4 and Clarity.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and design decision-making skills, with the ability to clearly communicate and defend design decisions.
  • Ability to independently drive projects and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with and effective use of AI tools throughout the design process is a plus.
  • Experience working on EdTech products or B2C businesses is a plus.
