Research Analyst

Job Description:

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented research analyst to assist in improving the operations and decision-making of our business. The research analyst's responsibilities include researching, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, and using the data to guide the business's decision-making. A research analyst should be prepared to work in various sectors, such as marketing, business operations, and finance.

To be a successful research analyst, you should have excellent mathematical, critical thinking, and communication skills. You should be flexible and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives for pursuing those.
  • Analyze economic data and trends to make forecasts about business, finance, and economic concepts.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans based on data analysis and interpretation.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Use statistics to interpret data and make regular reports.
  • Assess business ideas based on trends, finances, and strategy. Share detailed reports with stakeholders.
  • Advise stakeholders on investing in business ideas after thorough analysis and evaluation.
  • Share research results with the team and stakeholders in a clear way, possibly using data visualizations.
  • Make sure all research follows ethical rules and standard regulations, including protecting participant privacy.
Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Certifications like PRC from the Insights Association or CAP can show dedication and skill mastery.
  • At least 5+ Years Proven working experience as a Research Analyst.
  • Ability to use advanced statistics to interpret data.
  • (like regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling).
  • Proficiency with advanced Statistical analysis tools like SAS/SPSS is a most and familiarity with R language is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.
  • High understanding of project processes and standards and project writing.
  • High familiarity with SWOT analysis method.
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information from various sources and break down complex information into details.
  • Knowing how to use data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is also beneficial.
