Responsibilities:

• Provisioning and maintaining environments and configuration management
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using build and release orchestration tools 
• Identify Key Performance & Leading Indicators of our services and automate monitoring and alerting covering infrastructure up to the application layer
• Develop intelligent automation to self-heal and self-remediate
• Production deployments, on-call production support and monitoring 
• Take ownership of production up-time and stability 
• Contribute to identify where we can improve production resiliency, scalability and redundancy
• Participate in performance tests to better serve our customers
• Capacity planning, resource monitoring, and inventory management
• Identity and Access Management
• Database configuration, administration, and optimization
• Conduct Application Performance Optimization
• Implement continuous improvements to reduce mean time of delivery, resiliency, and security posture 

We are looking for:

• 3+ years hands-on experience in DevOps and Systems engineering
• Strong Linux administration skills and networking knowledge
• Strong operational skills and knowledge in MongoDB and PHP
• Proven track record of deploying high-availability systems
• Prior experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for scalable infrastructure 
• Prior experience working with Docker
• Prior experience with production support with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Prior experience working with Application Monitoring systems like Prometheus
• Working knowledge of CI/CD implementation best practices and related tools and services such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis, CircleCI, and GitLab CI
• Working knowledge of Source Control Management (Git & Git Workflows)
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one scripting and programming language such as Go, Groovy, Ruby, Bash, Python

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of operational experience in Information Technology.
• University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant field
• Knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm)
• Knowledge of common security concerns and best practices (threat modeling, blast radius, hardening, penetration testing)
• Knowledge of utilizing REST APIs
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Nginx, HA Proxy, ELK/EFK stack
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Comfortable with learning new tools and technologies.
• Strong collaboration skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solution
• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
