About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to help merchants integrate, set up, and effectively use our payment services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to merchants using our payment gateway through WordPress plugins as well as custom websites integrated via APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Guide merchants through the payment gateway integration and setup process using WordPress plugins or APIs.
  • Assist merchants with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of WordPress plugins.
  • Support merchants' technical teams and developers in implementing and integrating APIs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, failed transactions, callbacks, and webhooks.
  • Review and analyze logs to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Respond to support tickets and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to investigate and resolve complex issues or product bugs.
  • Document common issues and create user guides and knowledge base articles.
Requirements

  • Good knowledge of WordPress, including installation, plugin management, and configuration.
  • Familiarity with APIs and HTTP concepts, including REST, Request/Response, and HTTP Status Codes.
  • Basic understanding of at least one backend programming language such as PHP, Python, or Node.js.
  • Ability to work with logs and debugging tools.
  • Understanding of online payment concepts, including Tokens, Callbacks, and Verification processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Previous experience in Technical Support or Help Desk roles.
  • Familiarity with fintech products and payment gateway services.
  • Experience using Postman or other API testing tools.
