Job description:
Installation, configuration and database maintenance.
Create and manage database users and roles and ensure proper access control.
Configure performance parameters for optimal database performance.
Maintenance and optimization.
Implement and automate backup and recovery procedures.
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as vacuuming, profiling, and consolidation.
Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.
Implementation of query optimization techniques and performance tuning.
Qualifying conditions:
At least three years of experience working with PostgreSQL.
Mastery of PostgreSQL administration topics, including clustering, backup, replication, partitioning, indexing and etc.
Mastering Performance Optimization methods and discovering and improving slow queries.
Familiarity with monitoring methods and tools.
Ability and skill to work with Linux servers.
Getting to know the concept of Docker and working with it.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
