We are looking for a highly skilled QA Test Engineer to join our Cross-Functional team. This role is ideal for someone who has matured professionally and can work with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and will play a key role in identifying and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
- Execute defined tasks with minimal direct oversight.
- Clarify ambiguities without altering the fundamental structure or methodology of tasks.
- Make decisions and define activities that do not significantly impact budget, time, or structure.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables, requiring oversight only for downstream and upstream impacts.
- Participate in the improvement and modification of processes.
- Establish and expand professional relationships within and outside the team.
- Deliver work with high quality and provide and receive feedback to continually improve performance.
- Independently write readable, easily testable, and well-implemented code.
- Understand and apply the test pyramid, writing unit tests and higher-level tests with the guidance of senior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and debug using a systematic approach.
- Perform delegated tasks correctly and efficiently without the need for supervision on routine activities.
- Share knowledge regularly with teammates and contribute to team documentation.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and seek guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Provide and receive feedback to improve problem-solving approaches.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 2 years of full-time experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Ability to write clear and maintainable code.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to debugging.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge effectively.
- Responsible and proactive attitude towards assigned tasks.
Technical Skills:
- Manual Testing and Test Case Documentation
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Ability to use test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience in performance testing and familiarity with tools like LoadRunner.
- Ability to write automation scripts using programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with security testing concepts and tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
