Job Title: Social Marketing Specialist
Job description:
YouTechSolution is a Canadian based startup, specializing in building electronics instruments and hardware gadgets for mobile devices. We are looking for a full-time social marketing specialist to join our team. The main responsibilities for this role includes management and growth of YouTech social media channels (primarily Twitter account), engaging with target audience and building community of backers who will support our crowdfunding campaigns in the future. Also, you will be asked to contribute to gathering databases of potential backers, related blogs, journalists, and other influencers.
A typical working day would involve:
- Following marketing strategies defined by the team, you should make your best efforts to build and grow Twitter account from scratch
- Develop contents using available visual graphics and other materials
- Post updates, find new target audience, and engage with followers and related communities
- Contribution on building database and other required lists
Requirements (must have):
- Excellent writing/listening skills in English. IELTS, TOFEL, or other credible test results count a good asset
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media marketing, campaigns, tools, and analytics
- Ability to work independently with least supervision
- Being responsible for assigned tasks and getting the job done!
Preferred to have:
- Records of contribution on growth and management of Twitter account or other social media channels such as Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
- Demonstrated experience/skills on content creation and growing engaged audience
- Comfortable doing repetitive tasks some hours per day
- Passionate about technology, in particular electronics products
Big Assets that make you distinguished:
- Contribution on Crowdfunding Campaign in the past
- Experience on running Facebook ads
- Email Marketing experience
- International marketing work experience
Job Type: Full-time, Remote, 8hrs/day for 5 days of week
