About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Back-End Developer with deep expertise in PHP to join our team. As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development of a social media application, working on both the app and websites. This is a challenging position that requires strong technical skills, extensive server-side programming experience, and a passion for creating innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of server-side programming for a social media application.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement robust and scalable back-end solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to deliver high-quality software.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the application functions optimally.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of deep experience in server-side programming.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
  • Extensive knowledge of Firebase, Slim, and AWS.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins or similar.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or similar is a plus.
  • Having experience or familiarity with GoLang is considered an advantage.
  • Front-end development experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Services.
Job Type:
Full-time, Remote, Permanent (3 months provisional period)
