We are looking for an experienced node.to help build backend services as well as help transition into a microservice architecture.
What you'll be doing
Working hand in hand with other engineers developing and running a high traffic Node.js application,
development of projects related to Blockchain technologies, peer-to-peer video Streaming, and meeting platforms.
Day-to-day work will involve writing code, developing tests, debugging, and communicating with other team members.
Requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of Node.js experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript experience, TypeScript is also a must
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- Experience with complex node apps in large enterprise environments
- Comfortable working with multiple different data storage systems ranging from Redis to SQL
- Familiarity with continuous integration solutions
- Experience in Docker and containerized applications
- You write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase in check
- Understanding and previous experience implementing authentication schemes such as OAuth2
- Deep understanding of JS best-practices (Security issues, type-safe code, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex APIs - REST, Streaming, webhooks
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Bonus if you have experience with the following:
- Meteor Knowledge about cryptocurrencies
- P2P networks
- Webtorrent
- Blockchain
- Microservices
The salary range is between 13-20 US dollars per hour and is paid with cryptocurrency.
