**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Content Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cryptography, steganography, and expertise in implementing digital watermarking and fingerprinting techniques to protect digital video content from unauthorized duplication.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Research and Development:**
- Conduct thorough research on the latest advancements in digital watermarking and fingerprinting technologies.
- Explore and implement innovative techniques to enhance the security of digital video content.
2. **System Design and Implementation:**
- Design and implement robust digital watermarking and fingerprinting systems for video copy detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these systems into existing video processing pipelines.
3. **Algorithm Optimization:**
- Optimize algorithms for efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring minimal impact on video quality.
- Work on enhancing the speed and accuracy of fingerprint extraction and matching processes.
4. **Testing and Validation:**
- Develop comprehensive testing procedures to validate the effectiveness of the implemented content protection systems.
- Conduct extensive testing and validation to ensure the reliability and robustness of the solutions.
5. **Documentation:**
- Create detailed documentation for implemented algorithms, systems, and processes.
- Prepare clear and concise reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cryptography, steganography, and digital content protection.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with video processing, compression, and multimedia technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with video watermarking and fingerprinting libraries and tools.
- Knowledge of video codecs, encoding, and streaming technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards for content protection and digital rights management (DRM).
**Benefits:**
Rates starts form 22usd/hour for this position and is of course negotiable.
