Description
- Administration of Linux and server technologies and Problem determination
- Work with system/network engineers to define requirements and standards
- Research, test, and implement new technologies to support the system architecture
- Supporting services
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in a high traffic & highly available 24/7/365 environment
- Strong understanding of Linux-based OS
- Having strong experience in maintenance of relational/non-relational databases like MySQL and MongoDB
- Familiarity with container platforms specially Docker
- Having experience in maintenance of web servers (Nginx)
- Familiarity with High Availability and Load Balancing concepts and tools
- Understanding of private networking
- Having Experience with monitoring tools like Netdata or Prometheus
- Familiar with Git
Preferred Qualification
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI
- Kubernetes experience in a production environment
- Having good knowledge about cluster automation tools like Salt, Ansible or Puppet
