Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our backend team.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Your tasks:
· Lead architecture improvements and modernization of our core PHP API and backend systems
· Drive initiatives to enhance the stability, performance, and scalability of our PHP platform
· Contribute high-quality, maintainable PHP code using a wide range of technologies like Composer, Sentry, PHPUnit, Gitlab, Docker, MySQL, Redis, Grafana,Nexus, and RabbitMQ.
· Shape the technical vision and roadmap for our PHP backend.
· Mentor and guide developers on your team, instilling best practices
· Maintaining constant high level of communication with the stakeholders
Requirements:
· Working with PHP and Laravel framework +5 years in high traffic distributed systems
· MySql database cluster, transaction handling and monitoring
· Document and object data-storages such as Minio, Elasticsearch, Redis
· CI/CD pipeline
· Virtualisation and Docker in local and production environments
· Event driven design utilizing internal backend or external such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
· Microservices and Monolithic architectures
Introducing processes and best practices across the organization
