Job Description – QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test scenarios based on software requirements.
  
  
• Identify, document, and report issues, bugs, and software defects clearly and accurately.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (including developers, system analysts, and other team members) and maintain precise documentation of activities.
  
  
• Collaborate closely with the development team to investigate issues and enhance overall software quality.
  
  
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing processes and quality assurance standards.
  
  
• Identify inefficiencies in current QA processes and propose practical improvements and optimized solutions.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in web service testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Postman Test Runner.
  
  
• Strong understanding of automated testing principles and best practices.
  
  
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Robot Framework.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
  
  
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Zephyr Test Management.
  
  
• Experience with task and project management tools such as Jira.
  
  
• Proficiency in working with SQL databases for test data validation and analysis.
  
  
• In person and full-time

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
  
  
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and k6.
  
  
• Familiarity with data mocking tools (e.g., Mockoon).
  
  
• Understanding of Use Case Testing techniques.
