Role Description
At Taline, we are looking for a Product Design Team Lead who can set the design direction of the product, lead the design team, and develop the design system. This role involves leading the design team and contributing directly to product-level design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product design team and define design priorities
- Own and develop the Design System and ensure consistency across the product
- Contribute to product decisions from a user experience perspective
- Use data, user behavior, and research outputs in design decisions
- Define design standards at the product level
- Design and improve core user flows in key product features
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Product Design / UX / UI
- Experience leading design teams or mentoring designers
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Design Systems
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability
- Ability to use data and metrics in design decision-making
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
- Ability to clearly explain and justify design decisions
Management & Soft Skills
- Ability to lead a design team and assign responsibilities
- Decision-making skills in ambiguous situations
- Ability to give clear, professional feedback
- Experience handling disagreements and design conflicts
- Effective communication with product and engineering teams
- Systems-level thinking about user experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in FinTech or financial products
- Experience working on complex or large-scale products
