We are looking for a junior Ruby on Rails developer to join our team.


As a junior Ruby on Rails developer, you will be working on maintaining and building RESTful APIs. The product you make will serve thousands of customers on a daily basis.



What we're looking for


  • As a Ruby on Rails developer within our team, you will be working closely with our Backend, Frontend, and Product colleagues to build a state of the art product.
  • Good communication and conflict management skills - You are expected to work and communicate with the other teams regularly.
  • The ability to write well formatted, structured and clean code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and tools needed for building the product.

What we expect you to have experience with


  • At least 2 years of experience in server side development with Ruby, Python, or Go.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Knowledge of Ruby and OOP
  • Experience with Relational Databases and Active Record
  • Experience with implementing REST APIs
  • Bonus: API and unit testing with RSpec
  • Have experience working in teams where the development process was managed using Scrum
  • Git
