We are looking for a senior Ruby on Rails developer to join our team.


As a senior Ruby on Rails developer, you will be working on maintaining and building RESTful APIs and integrating Taskulu with third-party services. The product you make will serve thousands of customers on a daily basis.


What we're looking for

  • As a Ruby on Rails developer within our team, you will be working closely with our Backend, Frontend, and Product colleagues to build a state-of-the-art product.
  • Good communication and conflict management skills - You are expected to work and communicate with the other teams regularly.
  • The ability to write well formatted, structured, and clean code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and tools needed for building the product.

What we expect you to have experience with

  • At least 5 years of experience in server-side development
  • At least 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby
  • Strong knowledge of OOP
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Active Record
  • Implementing REST APIs
  • Implementing WebSocket servers (Bonus: Experience with Action Cable)
  • Caching strategies
  • API and unit testing with RSpec
  • Performance improvement (Bonus: Experience with memory leaks)
  • Bonus: Experience with Redis, NGINX, Docker, and Gitlab CI
  • Scrum
  • Git
