We're a data-driven fintech company that offers digital wallets and credit facilities such as BNPL. As we continue to expand our operations and strive for innovation, we're actively seeking a motivated and talented candidate to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for a variety of projects, including credit scoring, predicting various business variables, fraud detection, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Propose, design, and lead data-centric initiatives aimed at advancing the company's strategic goals.
- Work with data on transactions, users, and merchants, including analysis and any pre-processing that might be needed.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, impactful visualizations and develop business intelligence (BI) dashboards to present key metrics and trends.
- Gather, integrate, and refine data from diverse sources.
- Select and apply sophisticated statistical methods to derive actionable insights, including experimental design and hypothesis testing.
- Develop and implement data mining/machine learning models to identify patterns and trends in the data, which may include association rule mining, sequential pattern mining, and anomaly detection.
- Communicate the results of your analysis to stakeholders in a way that they can understand and use to make business decisions.
- Draft and present clear, non-technical reports detailing the achievements and limitations of each project.
- Provide data-backed recommendations that enhance the efficiency of achieving business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data science.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, data mining, and statistics.
- A strong working knowledge of Python is essential.
- Experience with statistical tests, probability distributions, and sampling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
