In Tapsell We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to develop and execute manual tests to ensure product quality. QA Specialist responsibilities include designing and implementing tests,bug tracking, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
Job Description:
- Perform manual testing of new features
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Support colleagues with troubleshooting issues and bugs discovered during testing
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Reporting bugs and test results to the product managers or developers for further investigation
Job Requirements:
- knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- fundamental understanding of Software Engineering principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Teamwork skills including communication skills and task management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Quick learner, with a willingness to dive in and learn everything required
