We seek a skillful and talented DevOps engineer to join our technical team at Takhfifan. The considering candidate has to be experienced in managing various services in online business environments. Responsibilities included to keep up and running the business services and infrastructures. Close collaboration with development and other teams is required to improve the automated processes and monitor different services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our scaled and highly available infrastructure.
- Design and improve automated deployments with Gitlab CI and Docker as containerization tools.
- Collaborating with development teams on Ruby, PHP, Next.js, and React.js applications.
- Improving and developing our monitoring stack based on Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Maintaining replicated databases, including MariaDB, PostgreSQL, clickhouse, and Redis.
- Actively engaging in developing configuration management with Ansible.
- Debugging and troubleshooting to find acceptable solutions for all running services and infrastructure aspects.
- Documenting and reporting the implementation and resolution of issues.
- Be available to work outside regular office hours as required for maintenance, updates, and emergency response.
Requirements:
- +2 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role in the web-based online industry.
- Responsible for keeping servers and services clean and developing straightforward solutions for encountering problems.
- Proven experience with Linux, Nginx, and Networking management.
- Proficiency in managing deployments using Gitlab CI and docker-compose.
- Programming background in Golang, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana stack and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of MariaDB, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis database administration.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and an eye for details to spot and fix issues.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and self-motivation to conduct research.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialist in virtualization technologies such as VSphere ESXi on Bare-metal servers.
- Familiarity with security best practices in bare-metals environments.
- Fluency in English.
