Requirements:
- You have 5+ years of experience delivering quality code in an agile set-up
- Experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, Mongoose, Socket.IO, Jest)
- Experience building and deploying Docker containers and orchestrating them using Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with MongoDB, NoSQL, and other SQL databases
- Expert knowledge of Redis and caching strategies
- Experience with debugging, refactoring, and optimization of code
- Strong knowledge of unit/integration testing
- Ability to make and explain architectural choices
- Experience with Microservices and Websockets
- Familiar with Kafka and stream processing
- Good understanding of SCRUM
- Interested in Big Data, Scalability, Continuous Integration and Delivery
- Smart, energetic, and a team player
- Autonomous, creative, and solution-oriented
- Strong general Linux experience
- Extensive experience with REST APIs
- Working with Git version control system
- Excellent communication skills in English
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend applications and improve the quality of our system architecture
- Refine, and tune integrations between applications
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Deploy new releases that work
- Bring new technology and ideas to the table
- Influence cross-team initiatives and mentor junior engineers
Desired additional skills:
- Blockchain Knowledge
- Blockchain development.
- Understanding of the cryptographic principles
- Understanding of various distributed consensus methodologies (PoS, PoW, PoH, Paxos, RAFT, etc.)
- understanding of the technology involved in developing Blockchain Solutions such as Hyperledger Fabric (deep), Ethereum, and alternate Blockchain technologies (recommended)
