We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI Developer to join our team and play a key role in developing and optimizing our business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, R or Python, and Click House, with a strong ability to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- BI Development & Data Integration:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support data integration from various sources.
- Build and optimize data models in SQL Server, Click House, and SSAS for reporting and analytics.
- Develop efficient and scalable queries to process large datasets in Click House.
- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Reporting & Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Implement complex calculations, measures, and KPIs in Power BI and SSAS to deliver meaningful insights.
- Provide recommendations to enhance visualization techniques for better storytelling and user experience.
- Advanced Analytics:
- Utilize R or Python for statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and advanced data analytics to support business initiatives.
- Develop machine learning models and integrate them into BI solutions for enhanced forecasting and trend analysis.
- Performance Optimization & Maintenance:
- Optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and BI reports for improved performance and scalability.
- Monitor BI systems for reliability, data accuracy, and availability.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and IT teams, to deliver effective BI solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, design specifications, and best practices.
- Provide mentoring and training to junior developers as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence development and data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and SQL Server (T-SQL).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for report development and data visualization.
- Experience with ClickHouse, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, OLAP cubes, and dimensional modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
