Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing stock levels using data analytics.

Responsibilities:


  • Monitor inventory levels and set order to forecast demand to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Use data analytics to optimize stock levels based on sales patterns and seasonal demand.
  • Implement strategies to manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status and key metrics to senior management.
  • Address any issues related to inventory discrepancies or delays in the supply chain.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the non-food category
  • Provide insights on inventory turnover, stock ageing, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products by coordinating with the relevant teams.
Qualifications:


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences in the non-food sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SQL will be an extra point .
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
