Responsibilities

  • Doing PR plans and strategies
  • Writing press releases, speeches, and other PR copy
  • Enhancing the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels
  • Building media relations and response to their requests
  • Presenting solutions in times of PR crisis
  • Establishing and maintaining a favorable public image
  • Conveying information accurately
  • Perceiving social trends and public sentiment and respond accordingly

Job Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor or higher degree in public relations, journalism, communications
  • Proven experience, minimum 4 years as a public relations specialist or similar position
  • Experience in copywriting and editing
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
  • Proficiency in English
  • A creative yet practical mind
  • Strong networking abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet definite deadlines
